Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chu Ho Soon (ranked 1118 p4p, 559 weight class) and Caio Peieira (ranked 65 p4p, 35 weight class). Ho Soon's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Carl Orff - O Fortuna. Chu Ho Soon has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chu Ho Soon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caio Peieira! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Steve Erwin and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peieira misses with a body shot.
Ho Soon jabbing away but nothing is landing. Peieira swings away with a body shot that misses
and Ho Soon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ho Soon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Peieira was well out of range. Poor timing from Ho Soon. Ho Soon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Peieira missing with a left hand there. Ho Soon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ho Soon throws out a powerful jab. Ho Soon takes a body punch but keeps moving. Ho Soon defending well as Peieira loads up on a big left hand. Ho Soon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Peieira circles away quickly and effectively. Ho Soon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That was a close round but I would say that Chu Ho Soon will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ho Soon jabbing away but nothing is landing. And Peieira tries to counter it with a takedown but Ho Soon pushes his down on his head and steps out. Peieira throws a body punch but Ho Soon moves out of range. Ho Soon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Peieira thuds his right hand into Ho Soon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Ho Soon jabbing away but nothing is landing. Ho Soon looks to throw the jab but Peieira is out of range. Peieira fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Ho Soon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Peieira. Peieira showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ho Soon.
Ho Soon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Peieira swings widly with a right hand

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Peieira misses with a body punch
enabling Ho Soon to counter with a crisp jab. Ho Soon moves away from the strike by Peieira. Ho Soon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ho Soon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Peieira can do to turn this around?

Peieira working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ho Soon. Ho Soon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Peieira works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Peieira has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ho Soon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ho Soon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Peieira has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ho Soon has managed to get both his arms back between Peieira's legs - danger averted. Peieira wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Peieira is looking to regain half guard here but Ho Soon keeps moving and retains side control. Peieira avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Ho Soon. Peieira is looking for a sweep. Peieira manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ho Soon's best efforts. Peieira works his way to full guard. Good work. Ho Soon has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Peieira to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ho Soon is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Peieira pulls down on the head and he's put Ho Soon to sleep! This one is all over!
