Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terrance Graves (ranked 2574 p4p, 2853 weight class) and Jimmy Navarro (ranked 317 p4p, 348 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Terrance Graves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Navarro!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Graves throws a lazy right hand but Navarro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Navarro swings for the body but Graves moves out of range.
Graves swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Graves lands a jab to the head.
Graves misses with a low kick.
Graves tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Navarro defends well and Graves ends up having to push Navarro into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Navarro lands a shoulder strike.
Graves goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Navarro can't find room to land a body shot as Graves controls the action.

That was a close round but I would say that Terrance Graves will probably get the nod.

Graves lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Graves throws the kick towards the body but Navarro avoids it.
Navarro appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Navarro feints and then cracks Graves's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Graves down.

That was a close second round but I would say that Terrance Graves will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Terrance Graves.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Graves, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
