Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walt Dykstra (ranked 2326 p4p, 3489 weight class) and Buster Gruff (ranked 87 p4p, 137 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Walt Dykstra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Buster Gruff!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dykstra misses with a series of wild punches.
Gruff lands a slapping body shot.
Dykstra tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gruff was well out of range. Poor timing from Dykstra.
Dykstra dodges the punch combination from Gruff.
Dykstra missing with a left hand there. Gruff was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dykstra closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gruff slips a straight right by Dykstra.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dykstra feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gruffs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Gruff stalks Dykstra and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dykstra's face. Dykstra staggers backwards, shaken.

Dykstra wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dykstra throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gruff on the side of the head.

As Dykstra backs off Gruff throws a huge counter combo but Dykstra manages to avoid it all.

Dykstra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gruff swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dykstra fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gruff has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Gruff steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dykstra.
Dykstra is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gruff.
As Dykstra backs off Gruff throws a huge counter combo but Dykstra manages to avoid it all.

Dykstra cracks Gruff with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gruff looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dykstra finish him?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dykstra moves away from the strike by Gruff.
Gruff seems to have recovered his senses.
Dykstra lands a body shot.
Dykstra swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gruff walks straight into a right hand from Dykstra - that's dropped him! Dykstra jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Gruff from any more punishment! Gruff complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
