The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Man looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Braus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Man paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Man looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The crowd cheers as Man lands an impressive looking overhand right. Braus doesn't seem phased though.

Man catches Braus with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Man lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Braus is rocked!
Man cracks Braus with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Oh Braus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Man jabs at Braus's body.
Braus seems to have got his legs back now.
Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Braus takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Braus moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Braus takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Braus. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
