Tarlac has chosen Nobody Knows- The Tony RIch Project as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 27 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vladimir Tarlac!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murphy has taken the fight to the clinch.

Murphy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tarlac avoids the head kick by Murphy.
A combination from Tarlac does no damage.
Murphy throws a quick counter head kick but Tarlac was just out of range.

Tarlac takes the fight into the clinch.
Tarlac scores with an uppercut up the middle.
I was talking to Murphy's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Tarlac lands with a right to the head.
Murphy misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tarlac.
Tarlac takes a knee to the side of the body.
Tarlac throws a punch but it's blocked by Murphy.

Murphy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tarlac throws a series of punches but Murphy avoids them all with ease.
Murphy lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Murphy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Murphy tries a head kick but it misses.
Murphy throws a head kick but Tarlac moves out of range.

Murphy lands a head kick that bluckles Tarlac and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Murphy no doubt looking to push for a finish!

Tarlac is rocked!

It looks like Vladimir Tarlac has been cut.
Tarlac is looking to clinch.
Tarlac is still on wobbly legs! Can Murphy finish him?
Tarlac should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Murphy tries a head kick but it misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tarlac avoids the head kick by Murphy.
Tarlac seems to have recovered his senses.
Murphy and Tarlac are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Murphy throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Tarlac into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Murphy knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Shane Murphy!
Shane Murphy took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Brooklyn Apothecary for their support in the buildup to the fight.
Vladimir Tarlac spoke after the fight, saying 'until next time '.
