The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazaryan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nazaryan misses with a body shot
and Ham counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nazaryan throws a combination that misses
and Ham counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ham looks low and kicks high, catching Nazaryan right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ham listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Oh Nazaryan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nazaryan throws a combination that misses
and Ham counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Nazaryan goes down! Ham rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Nazaryan is up to one knee.... 8,9.... He's up! The referee says he's good to go, so we're back to the action!
Ham has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Nazaryan is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ham is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Ham cracks Nazaryan with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Nazaryan is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Nazaryan is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Ham throws a front kick to the face that drops Nazaryan face first to the mat! Oh, he's in big trouble! He's stumbling all over the place and has face planted into the ropes, causing the referee to call an end to the fight! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Front Kick). Helmuth Ham!
After winning the bout, Helmuth Ham thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
