Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Pullman (ranked 3798 p4p, 3809 weight class) and Robbie Lyle (ranked 461 p4p, 462 weight class). Lyle is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Don’t Sniff The Coke. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pullman is looking to land body kicks.
Pullman throws a body punch but Lyle moves out of range.

A little jabbing left from Lyle on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lyle ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Pullman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Pullman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Ryan Pullman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pullman tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lyle is able to avoid easily.

Pullman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lyle has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lyle there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lyle walks straight into a right hand from Pullman - that's dropped him! Pullman jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Lyle from any more punishment! Lyle complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
