Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Connor Mayweather (ranked 4561 p4p, 3129 weight class) and Hector Mad Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 312 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mayweather has gone for a leg lock! Mad Dog slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mayweather's guard.

Mayweather is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Mad Dog.
That kick from Mad Dog tenderised Mayweather's leg. Mayweather is trying to keep his angry face on.

Mad Dog ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mad Dog throws a big counter head kick but Mayweather avoids it with no problem.

Mayweather lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
