Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aguila Blanco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vonte Smith!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanco is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Smith with the counter takedown but Blanco avoids it easily.
Blanco misses with a takedown attempt - Smith sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Smith connects with a single shot there.
Blanco wants to clinch.
Smith doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Blanco looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Blanco closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smith to the mat! Smith manages to get full guard.
Blanco controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith wants to get back to his feet but Blanco is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Blanco wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.
Blanco won't allow Smith to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blanco loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Smith uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Smith connects with a high kick.
Blanco stalks Smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smith's face. Smith staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Vonte Smith has been cut.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Blanco.
Blanco tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smith dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vonte Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blanco slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Blanco blocks a leg kick.
And Blanco counters with a quick kick to the body but Smith blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smith throws a right and a left that Blanco avoids nicely.
Smith throws a right hand that Blanco ducks under and follows up with a left that Blanco also avoids with ease.
Sloppy strikes from Smith. Those never looked like landing.
A left lands for Smith.
Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Blanco fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Blanco tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aguila Blanco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blanco is breathing heavily.
Smith stuns Blanco with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Blanco cracks Smith with a right hand to the side of the head.
Smith misses with a few strikes there.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smith feints the counter takedown.
Smith lands a slapping body shot.

Blanco shoots in and drives through. Smith sprawls well.
Aguila Blanco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blanco misses with a body shot.
Smith throws a shot to the body.
Smith misses with a two punch combination.
Smith swinging wildly here.
Smith connects with a body shot that sends Blanco's belly button to the back.
Smith scores with a jab to the jaw.
Blanco shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Blanco keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A little jabbing left from Smith on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Smith throws a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith misses the shot to the body.
Blanco swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Blanco misses with the combination.
Blanco throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blanco off to one side.
Smith darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blanco takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Smith throws a good cross that connects.
Nice body punch from Smith.
A lazy left from Smith finds it's target.
Smith lands with a right hand.
Blanco is rocked!
Smith buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Oh Blanco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
