The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov I I misses with a head kick.
Lalime tries to counter by closing the distance.

Kersikov I I went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
A jab from Lalime finds it's way through Kersikov I I's defenses.

Kersikov I I has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kersikov I I motions for Lalime to come forward. Kersikov I I throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Lalime throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kersikov I I stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kersikov I I creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Lalime comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Kersikov I I feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lalimes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Lalime is rocked!

Kersikov I I drops Lalime with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lalime looks back up at him and smiles so Kersikov I I waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Lalime is still on wobbly legs! Can Kersikov I I finish him?
Kersikov I I knocks out Lalime with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Kersikov I I before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Kersikov I I picks up the big W with a huge KO!
