Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Hardman (ranked 2340 p4p, 2144 weight class) and Pohaku Scott (ranked 295 p4p, 274 weight class). Scott has chosen Ukulele Lady- Arlo Guthrie as his entrance music. Pohaku Scott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Hardman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pohaku Scott! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardman lands an overhand right. Hardman works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Scott misses with a lunging right hand
and Hardman counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Scott thinking. Hardman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Scott throws out a loose jab but Hardman uses good head movement to avoid it. Hardman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Scott fails to land with a series of punches.
Hardman lands with a shot to the body. Hardman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Scott manages to avoid it. Hardman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Pohaku Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hardman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Scott.
Hardman scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Pohaku Scott has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hardman avoids the head kick by Scott.
A swing and a miss from Scott.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Scott tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hardman was well out of range. Poor timing from Scott. Scott jabbing away but nothing is landing. Scott throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hardman counters with a nice uppercut. Hardman misses with a body shot.
Hardman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Scott misses with an uppercut
letting Hardman counter with a right hand. Hardman throws a body punch but Scott moves out of range. Scott throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hardman counters with a stiff right hand. Scott swings widly with a right hand
and Hardman counters with a nice body shot. Scott is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hardman.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott slips a straight right by Hardman. Hardman throws a body shot but no joy. Scott let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hardman moves out of range of the strikes. A head kick from Hardman lands but Scott takes it in his stride.
That has opened up Pohaku Scott's cut even more. Hardman is looking to wear down Scott with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Scott throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hardman, as that shot connected.
Scott is rocked! Hardman is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Hardman cracks Scott with a left hook right on the temple and Scott goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Hardman lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Scott is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brock Hardman! During a confident post fight interview, Brock Hardman thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
