Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Jackson (ranked 2921 p4p, 3753 weight class) and Gubba GU (ranked 366 p4p, 450 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rashad Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gubba GU!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson swings widly with a right hand
enabling GU to counter with a crisp jab.
Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and GU moves out of range easily.
Jackson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Jackson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
GU connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jackson momentarily.
Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but GU was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.
Jackson misses with a left hand
and GU counters with a stiff right hand.
GU throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A low kick from Jackson misses
and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jackson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jackson throws a predictable looking body shot
and GU cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
GU keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
GU lands a big right hand that sends Jackson crashing to the mat! GU stays standing though and waves Jackson back to his feet!
Jackson is rocked!
Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson falls off balance throwing a combination
and GU makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses.
Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by GU.
Jackson throws a lazy right hand but GU sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jackson throws a lazy uppercut
and GU cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jackson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and GU counters with a left to the body.
Rashad Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
GU avoids the body shot from Jackson.
A nice side step and GU releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but GU circles away quickly and effectively.
GU connects with a crisp jab.
Jackson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and GU counters with a huge left! Jackson is in big trouble! He's backing up but GU isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Jackson from any more damage. A dominating finish by GU!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gubba GU!
