Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Kong (ranked 3047 p4p, 2719 weight class) and Jimmy King (ranked 376 p4p, 337 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cole Kong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 9 - 2, fighting out of New York, Jimmy King! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King throws a sloppy head kick and Kong moves out of range easily. Kong shoots and misses and King cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kong throws a lazy uppercut
enabling King to counter with a crisp jab. Kong has been working on his boxing with his coaches at WildBoar's Private Pig Pen in the buildup to the fight. Kong takes one on the chin but seems OK.
King ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kong moves away. A big right from Kong misses. King throws a body kick that misses. King throws a series of punches but Kong moves out of range. A punch lands to the side of King 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kong half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. King blocks a low kick nicely. King thows a left - swing and a miss! Kong throws a poor cross that misses
and King counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A left and a right from Kong both land. Nice combination. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kong misses with a body kick. Kong fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that King has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Kong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming King to the mat! King manages to get full guard. Kong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. King keeping moving, preventing Kong from controlling successfully. Kong looking to sit in guard and control but King gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hammerfist, elbow! yells King's corner. There ya go! There ya go! King scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kong working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because King has passed into half guard!
King takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kong moves into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kong has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. King is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kong. Kong tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but King wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. King scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. King lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kong down.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kong is refusing to be controlled, as King sits in half guard. King lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from King. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King looks to score some points with some ground and pound. King winds up and cracks Kong with a swinging punch to the side of the head. King lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. King lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Kong! More strikes land and this one is all over! King jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
