Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Shark (ranked 4942 p4p, 5019 weight class) and Erasmo Vale Queiroz (ranked 547 p4p, 553 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edgar Shark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erasmo Vale Queiroz! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shark throws the left hand but Vale Queiroz avoids the punch easily. Shark scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Shark swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Vale Queiroz flicks out a counter leg kick but Shark steps away. Nice cross by Shark. Vale Queiroz takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Erasmo Vale Queiroz has been cut. Shark cracks Vale Queiroz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Vale Queiroz with a nice calf kick. Shark misses with a body shot.
Shark throws a lazy right hand but Vale Queiroz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Shark misses with an uppercut. Vale Queiroz counters with a body kick. Shark misses with a body shot.
Shark thows a left - swing and a miss! Shark misses with a left hand and Vale Queiroz counters with a slapping leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shark stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Shark misses with an uppercut
and Vale Queiroz counters with an inside leg kick. Shark is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shark fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shark misses with a left hand and Vale Queiroz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Shark throws a lazy uppercut
and Vale Queiroz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Shark misses with a lunging right hand
and Vale Queiroz counters with a low kick, right behind Shark 's knee. Shark is breathing heavily. Shark throws a lazy uppercut
and Vale Queiroz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Shark is rocked! Vale Queiroz moves out of range of the strikes. Vale Queiroz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Shark rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Vale Queiroz to counter with a crisp jab. Oh Shark is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Shark throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Vale Queiroz appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Shark seems to have got his legs back now. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shark, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A low kick lands for Vale Queiroz.
Shark rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Vale Queiroz counters with a left to the body. Vale Queiroz digs a good hook to Shark's body.
Shark is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shark jabbing away but nothing is landing. Vale Queiroz lands a leg kick that knocks Shark off balance momentarily. Vale Queiroz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Shark jabbing away but nothing is landing. Shark misses with an uppercut. And Vale Queiroz responds with a good body kick, but Shark manages to step out the way in time. Vale Queiroz drops Shark with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shark looks back up at him and smiles so Vale Queiroz waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Good shot there by Shark. Shark gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Vale Queiroz gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Shark is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erasmo Vale Queiroz! During a confident post fight interview, Erasmo Vale Queiroz thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
