Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Shark (ranked 4927 p4p, 3294 weight class) and Vadim Leonov Jr (ranked 532 p4p, 408 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Franklin Shark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vadim Leonov Jr! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shark fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leonov Jr, pushing him back against the cage. Leonov Jr is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Shark to keep the fight standing. Shark decides to pull guard. Shark preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Leonov Jr throwing strikes from guard but Shark blocks nicely. Shark really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Leonov Jr throws a big elbow that misses. Shark is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Leonov Jr controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Leonov Jr scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Shark knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leonov Jr on the ground. Leonov Jr throwing strikes from guard but Shark blocks nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leonov Jr working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Leonov Jr trying to control the position from guard on top but Shark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shark looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Leonov Jr has picked Shark up and slammed him! Shark can't keep hold of the triangle and Leonov Jr manages to pass to side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Shark takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Leonov Jr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Leonov Jr cracks Shark with an elbow. That is naaassty. Leonov Jr should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Leonov Jr is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Shark looks calm but he's in trouble here. Leonov Jr gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Shark is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Leonov Jr lets go of the hold and Shark can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Vadim Leonov Jr! Vadim Leonov Jr decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
