Ovronnaz has chosen Kiss - Unholy as his entrance music. Yuri Ovronnaz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Ovronnaz. Danga de danga de dang - Ovronnaz scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Fernando Cabresco has been cut. Ovronnaz scores with a one two! Cabresco had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cabresco. Ovronnaz misses with a wild combination.
Cabresco avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cabresco shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ovronnaz as he avoids it easily. Cabresco throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Ovronnaz pulls guard effortlessly. Cabresco pushing down on Ovronnaz's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Ovronnaz controlling the position for now. Cabresco thows a huge punch but Ovronnaz dodges it nicely.

Ovronnaz wants to get back to full guard. Ovronnaz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Cabresco thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ovronnaz to regain full guard. Cabresco stands up and waves to Ovronnaz to follow him. Cabresco tries to clinch there but Ovronnaz circles away.
Cabresco shoots in and bounces Ovronnaz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ovronnaz controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cabresco wants to stand but Ovronnaz has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Ovronnaz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ovronnaz looks gassed! Ovronnaz keeping moving, preventing Cabresco from controlling successfully. Cabresco pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ovronnaz is keeping the position for now. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ovronnaz can do anything to dispel that myth. Ovronnaz has control of Cabresco's left arm, preventing Cabresco from doing any damage. Cabresco won't allow Ovronnaz to sweep him here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Cabresco looks for a takedown but Ovronnaz sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fernando Cabresco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cabresco shoots in looking for a takedown. Ovronnaz tries to sprawl out of it but Cabresco keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ovronnaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ovronnaz forces Cabresco back against the cage and clinches. Cabresco is trying to break the clinch but Ovronnaz has him pressed against the cage. Ovronnaz lands a nice shot to the body. Ovronnaz is trying to break free. Cabresco jumps into guard, dragging Ovronnaz to the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cabresco is looking to stand up but Ovronnaz isn't so interested in that idea. Ovronnaz is in close to Cabresco's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ovronnaz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ovronnaz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cabresco holds on and takes a little breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yuri Ovronnaz dominated that round. The cut man is working on Fernando Cabresco's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ovronnaz tries to clinch but Cabresco moves out of range. Ovronnaz wants to clinch but Cabresco slips to the side and Cabresco counters with a nice double leg into guard. Cabresco slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ovronnaz looking for a sweep. Not yet Ovronnaz, not yet. Cabresco wants to control from the top but Ovronnaz keeps moving. Ovronnaz wants to sweep but no luck. Ovronnaz is breathing heavily. Cabresco trying to control but Ovronnaz is working from the bottom. Ovronnaz is looking to stand up but Cabresco isn't so interested in that idea.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cabresco takes one on the button. Ovronnaz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cabresco counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cabresco has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Nice takedown defense from Ovronnaz. No joy for Cabresco on that attempt. Ovronnaz gets in close and instigates a clinch. Cabresco managing to block the knees to the body from Ovronnaz.
Ovronnaz is trying to break free. Cabresco throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Ovronnaz manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Cabresco tries to free his leg and advance position but Ovronnaz is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ovronnaz can't keep his opponent in guard - Cabresco advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Cabresco looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cabresco wants to control but Ovronnaz is keeping him busy. Cabresco is thwarting Ovronnaz's attempts to control the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cabresco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ovronnaz circles away. Ovronnaz shoots for a takedown but Cabresco saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Cabresco fakes the leg kick and cracks Ovronnaz in the body. Cabresco with a poor takedown and Ovronnaz counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fernando Cabresco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ovronnaz working away. Cabresco gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ovronnaz wants to take a breather but Cabresco is having none of it. Cabresco is looking for a sweep. Ovronnaz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ovronnaz performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Cabresco is trying to maintain the position but Ovronnaz is very close to passing his half guard. Cabresco slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Cabresco striking off his back but it's not causing Ovronnaz any problems. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Fernando Cabresco will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Fernando Cabresco's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Ovronnaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ovronnaz with a poor takedown and Cabresco counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ovronnaz's guard now. Fernando Cabresco overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Cabresco sitting in guard, not really doing much. Ovronnaz keeping moving, preventing Cabresco from controlling successfully. Cabresco postures up in Ovronnaz's guard and throws a big left but Ovronnaz blocks it. Cabresco stands up from guard. Let's bang! Cabresco throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ovronnaz's waist but Ovronnaz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cabresco off to one side. Ovronnaz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cabresco's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cabresco is trying to control the position but Ovronnaz postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cabresco looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ovronnaz wants to control from the top but Cabresco keeps moving. Ovronnaz postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ovronnaz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cabresco has time to react. Ovronnaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cabresco. Ovronnaz instigates a clinch. Ovronnaz looking for a takedown. A looping hook to the body misses from Ovronnaz. Cabresco does a little dance to reset his feet. Ovronnaz tries to clinch up and Cabresco counters with an inside leg kick. Ovronnaz misses with a double jab.
Ovronnaz on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Cabresco throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Cabresco rushes Ovronnaz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Cabresco lands an elbow inside that Ovronnaz shrugs off. Cabresco escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cabresco fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ovronnaz sprawls well initially but Cabresco persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ovronnaz is not content to let Cabresco control the position. Cabresco is controlling the pace.
Ovronnaz is trying to maintain the position but Cabresco is very close to passing his half guard. Ovronnaz is staying active underneath Cabresco, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ovronnaz punching from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cabresco drops an elbow to the side of Ovronnaz's head. Ovronnaz is refusing to be controlled, as Cabresco sits in half guard. Cabresco lands with a punch from half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ovronnaz throws a right and a left that Cabresco avoids nicely. Ovronnaz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cabresco's waist but Cabresco gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ovronnaz off to one side. Fernando Cabresco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuri Ovronnaz. Cabresco tries for a takedown but Ovronnaz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Cabresco lands with a nice body punch. Fernando Cabresco is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cabresco dodges the punch combination from Ovronnaz.
Ovronnaz tries to clinch but Cabresco moves away and Cabresco counters with a left and a right that stings Ovronnaz. Cabresco plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Cabresco checks the leg kick nicely there.
Cabresco shoots in for a takedown but Ovronnaz shows good takedown defense.
And that's the end of the fight! Fernando Cabresco showed his dominance in that final round. I think Cabresco has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
