Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 5576 p4p, 3287 weight class) and Devon Sage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devon Sage is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sage wants to clinch up but Salvacion keeps it at a distance.
Salvacion thinks about countering with a body kick.
Salvacion keeps the fight on the outside.
Sage darts in trying to clinch
and Salvacion counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Sage looks to clinch
and Salvacion counters with a solid body kick.
Sage wants to clinch up but Salvacion keeps it at a distance.

Salvacion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sage quickly recovers to half guard.
Sage tries to roll over but Salvacion keeps him under control.
Sage gets back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Salvacion will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Sage is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sage has his feet on Salvacion's thighs here. He's pushed Salvacion off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Salvacion screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
