Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatez attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gatez's waist but Gatez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Gatez misses with a low kick.
Gatez rushes Silva and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gatez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gatez throws a lazy right hand but Silva sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gatez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Gatez misses with a hook.
Gatez moves into the clinch.
Gatez just leaning against Silva, taking a breather.
Gatez breaks the clinch.
A combination from Gatez does no damage.
Gatez misses with a double jab.
Gatez swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Gatez, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Gatez against the cage but Gatez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Link Gatez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Silva.
Gatez takes a swing at Silva's ribcage but misses.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Gatez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gatez throws a leg kick but Silva sees it coming and moves out of range.
A swing and a miss from Gatez.
Silva blocks a jab.
Silva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Silva in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Gatez is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
