Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yaroslav Amosov (ranked 4866 p4p, 5672 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Helen Salvacion is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yaroslav Amosov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salvacion on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Amosov misses with a lunging right hand
and Salvacion counters with a nice body kick. Salvacion takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Amosov throws a shot to the body.
Salvacion steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Amosov. Amosov scores with a jab. Amosov works Salvacion's body with a nice hook. Amosov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Salvacion stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Amosov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Salvacion was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Amosov missing with a left hand there. Salvacion was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Amosov lands a lovely overhand right. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Amosov swings for the body but Salvacion moves out of range.
Amosov connects with a right hand. Salvacion shakes it off. Salvacion moves away from the strike by Amosov. Salvacion bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Salvacion changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amosov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Amosov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Salvacion on the side of the head. Amosov misses with a wild body shot. Amosov takes a swing at Salvacion's ribcage but misses. Amosov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Salvacion is rocked! Amosov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Amosov swings and misses with a shot to the body and Salvacion counters with a solid body kick. Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown. Amosov tries to sprawl out of it but Salvacion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Amosov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Amosov uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amosov punishes Salvacion's body with a nice straight punch. Salvacion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Amosov's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Salvacion sitting in guard here, content to control. Amosov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Salvacion is controlling him. Salvacion looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amosov has his hands on Salvacion's head, controlling the position. Amosov is wriggling around but Salvacion manages to pass to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Amosov is trying to escape back to his feet but Salvacion uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Amosov is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Salvacion has just dragged him back down to the mat. A lull in the action here. Amosov wants to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Yaroslav Amosov dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Nice sprawl there from Amosov as Salvacion shoots in. Salvacion takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Amosov connects with a jab. Yaroslav Amosov is winning the standup battle so far. Amosov throws a hook but Salvacion blocks it. Amosov lands a nice looking body shot.
Amosov connects with a single shot there. Amosov digs a good body shot into Salvacion's ribs. A cross from Amosov lands. Amosov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Salvacion can do to turn this around? Amosov sizes up Salvacion with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Salvacion is still on wobbly legs! Can Amosov finish him? Amosov sends Salvacion crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Amosov is motioning to the referee to let Salvacion up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Salvacion gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Amosov gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yaroslav Amosov!
