Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dale Mackey (ranked 24727 p4p, 5141 weight class) and Bo Hogan (ranked 672 p4p, 569 weight class). Bo Hogan has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dale Mackey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bo Hogan! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Hogan enables Mackey to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hogan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hogan has an active guard here but Mackey has managed to pass into half guard.
Hogan is trying to get back to full guard. Mackey tries to stand but can't do so whilst Hogan controls his leg. Hogan gets back to full guard.
Hogan throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hogan is on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hogan throws a strike but Mackey rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Mackey is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hogan has escaped the position, nice work there. Hogan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hogan tries to improve his position but instead Mackey has taken his back! Hogan manages to reverse the position and now he's in Mackey's guard. Nice work there by Hogan.
Hogan trying to control but Mackey is working from the bottom. My spies in Alpha Brasil inform me that Hogan has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hogan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mackey's guard. Hogan has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hogan jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hogan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mackey is refusing to be controlled, as Hogan sits in half guard. Hogan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hogan wants to control but Mackey is keeping him busy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hogan passes the guard and advances to mount! Hogan trying to control but Mackey is having none of it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Hogan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mackey's guard. Hogan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hogan has his foot on Mackey's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mackey works his way back into a safe position though. Mackey wants to control from the top but Hogan keeps moving. Hogan trying to keep a closed guard but Mackey is proving a slippery customer.

Hogan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mackey postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hogan looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hogan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mackey defends it easily. Mackey looking to pass the guard. Hogan has a closed guard, preventing Mackey from standing up. Hogan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mackey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hogan keeping moving, preventing Mackey from controlling successfully. Mackey wants to get up but he can't break Hogan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mackey advances to half guard. Hogan manages to get to full guard.
Mackey working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mackey advances position into side control! Hogan is looking for a sweep. Hogan manages to get back to half guard. Mackey is trying to control. Hogan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dale Mackey will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Hogan is looking to take a break and control but Mackey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hogan wants to control for a moment but Mackey uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Hogan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mackey sees it coming and defends easily. Hogan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hogan is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mackey regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hogan. Mackey keeping moving, preventing Hogan from controlling successfully. Hogan with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hogan trying to control the position from guard on top but Mackey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hogan tries to free his leg and advance position but Mackey is retaining full guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mackey doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Mackey drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hogan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hogan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mackey trying to control but Hogan is working from the bottom. Mackey preventing the sweep.
And that's the end of the fight! Bo Hogan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hogan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
