Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blake Monle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Darren Steward !
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steward forces Monle back against the cage and clinches.
Steward pushes Monle back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Monle definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Steward .
Steward throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Monle has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Steward avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Steward controlling the action here for a moment.
A shot in the inside from Steward .
Monle jumps guard but Steward turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Steward stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Steward lands a left hand that snaps the head of Monle backwards.
Monle trying to control the position but instead, Steward has worked for underhooks and has pushed Monle into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Monle misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Steward .
Monle is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blake Monle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Steward prevents a takedown attempt there.
Steward manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Monle drops down looking for an ankle pick but Steward pulls his leg out and moves away.

Steward jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Darren Steward is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sloppy strikes from Monle. Those never looked like landing.
Steward appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Monle or perhaps it was just good defense by Steward , which made it look bad.
Monle is breathing heavily.
Steward with a jab.
Steward dips to his left and cracks Monle with an uppercut!
Steward connects with a body shot that sends Monle's belly button to the back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Steward lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Steward closes the distance and clinches.

Monle is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Steward gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Oh Monle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Blake Monle has been cut.
Steward is pressed up against the cage. Monle has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Steward down to the mat. Steward avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Steward clinches up with Monle and pushes him back against the cage.
Steward lands with a left to the head.
Steward creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Monle! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Steward .
