Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Spicoli (ranked 2166 p4p, 3171 weight class) and Tomahawk Chai (ranked 277 p4p, 400 weight class). Spicoli comes to the cage accompanied by Money Buy Drugs. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spicoli fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chai scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Spicoli steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chai.
Spicoli throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chai throws a hook to the side of Spicoli's head but Spicoli sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Spicoli counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Chai looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Spicoli, as that shot connected.

We've been told by Spicoli's head coaches at Globo Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Spicoli displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chai throws out the jab.

Spicoli circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Chai to the canvas! Chai doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Spicoli keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
