PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Razor Ramon (ranked 24325 p4p, 24582 weight class) and Paddy Smacks (ranked 673 p4p, 663 weight class). Paddy Smacks told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Razor Ramon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Paddy Smacks!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smacks.
Smacks misses with a double jab
and Ramon counters with a stiff right hand.
Ramon lands the left hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ramon. Smacks does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ramon throws a predictable looking body shot
and Smacks counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Razor Ramon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smacks swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ramon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Smacks dives in and grabs Ramon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ramon pushes down on Smacks's head and hops out.
No joy there for Smacks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smacks shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ramon lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
