Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerritzen shoots in and bounces Fighter off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fighter looking for a guillotine here but Gerritzen defends easily.

Fighter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gerritzen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Some bone on bone action there as Fighter checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Gerritzen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fighter tries to get to full guard but Gerritzen has control of the leg.

Roelof Gerritzen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Fighter shoots in for a double leg but Gerritzen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Well Gerritzen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
