The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnathan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black trying to hold on to Johnathan's head to control him but Johnathan postures up.

Black looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Black is pressing down on Johnathan's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Black tries to buck Johnathan off but Johnathan is having none of it.

It looks like Excalam Black has been cut.

Black is rocked!
Johnathan lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Black quite badly. Black pulls Johnathan in close trying to recover. Johnathan postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Black on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Black doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
