Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between New Breed One (ranked 349 p4p, 535 weight class) and Brayden Point (ranked 43 p4p, 59 weight class). Point comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Roots Reggae Music kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! New Breed One is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brayden Point!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Point pinned against the cage. Point gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
One moves away from the strike by Point.
Jab, jab by Point - just one landing.
A jab from Point finds it's way through One's defenses.
One shoots in for a takedown but Point shows good takedown defense.
One looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Point is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by One.
One closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - One lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
One is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
One postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
One shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Point as he avoids it easily.
Point ducks down and throws a hook to the body but One moves away.

and Point counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
One closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

New Breed One overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Point wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by One, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Point tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Point has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
One sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

One working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Point doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Point manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
One had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Point defends it easily.
