The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

UnEqual tries to keep at a distance but Devereaux has taken the fight into the clinch.

UnEqual has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Devereaux regains guard immediately.
UnEqual pushes down on Devereaux's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Devereaux wants to control but UnEqual is keeping busy and won't allow it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Devereaux manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. UnEqual manages to get himself to full guard.

UnEqual looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Devereaux postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! UnEqual is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Devereaux, into his guard.

Devereaux working for a triangle but UnEqual defends it easily.

UnEqual got a little sloppy there for a moment and Devereaux has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, UnEqual has managed to get both his arms back between Devereaux's legs - danger averted.

UnEqual is looking to take a break and control but Devereaux is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Devereaux is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Zombie MMA, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

UnEqual is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Devereaux is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

UnEqual has hold of Devereaux's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Devereaux tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - UnEqual cranks the arm and Devereaux screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Devereaux, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Gagong UnEqual spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
