Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Washington (ranked 4551 p4p, 4477 weight class) and Jerry Kramer (ranked 479 p4p, 478 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Washington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerry Kramer! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Washington will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Washington looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kramer is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Washington presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Kramer is looking to take this one to the mat. Washington is trying to drag Kramer to the mat but Kramer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kramer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Washington just stands there and leans against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Washington's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kramer is working for takedown but Washington is calmly controlling the position for now. Michael Washington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerry Kramer. Washington pulls guard effortlessly. Kramer sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kramer wants to stand but Washington has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Washington is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kramer content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kramer throwing strikes but missing. Kramer stopping the sweep attempt from Washington. Kramer trying to move into half guard but instead Washington has managed to sweep!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Washington tries to free his leg and advance position but Kramer is retaining full guard. Kramer is looking for a triangle but Washington pushes his legs off easily.
Kramer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kramer trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Washington postures up and lands a big shot to Kramer's brow. Washington tries to free his leg and advance position but Kramer is retaining full guard. Kramer is pulling down on Washington's head. It's preventing any offense from Washington, at least for the moment. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Washington pushes down on Kramer's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kramer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Washington is working away from the top position though. Kramer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Washington. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Washington keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Kramer looking to score a takedown here. Washington is defending well but Kramer drives through and ends up in Washington's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Washington striking off his back but it's not causing Kramer any problems. Washington trying to control the position.
Washington is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kramer is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Washington pushes Kramer off and gets back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Washington. Kramer dives in and scores a takedown into Washington's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kramer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Washington is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kramer frees his head nicely. Oh but Washington has switched to an armbar! Kramer is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
