And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Goran Acker!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acker avoids a kick to the body.
Acker throws a hook but Munhoz avoids it easily.
Munhoz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A big right from Acker misses.
Acker throws a lazy uppercut
and Munhoz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Munhoz.
Munhoz is pushing down on Acker's leg trying to pass to half guard. Acker is fighting to maintain full guard but Munhoz has managed to sneak the leg through.
Munhoz tries to pass to full mount but Acker defends it.
Acker is not content to let Munhoz control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Still in half guard, Munhoz seems content to control.
Munhoz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Acker knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Munhoz is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Acker is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
