Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 6377 p4p, 24149 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xxx Xxx has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Xxx Xxx's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 28 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fighter A wants to get back to his feet.
Fighter B controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A wants to stand up but Fighter B has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Fighter B manages to get to full guard. Fighter B wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Fighter A wants to control from the top but Fighter B keeps moving. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Fighter B is adopting a defensive guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter A shoots for a takedown but Fighter B saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. Fighter A shoots in and drives through. Fighter B sprawls well. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter A. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter A fails to land the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B dives in and grabs Fighter A's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fighter A pushes down on Fighter B's head and hops out. Fighter B keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. Fighter A shoots in looking for a takedown. Fighter B tries to sprawl out of it but Fighter A keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fighter B manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter A lands a nice leg kick that just misses Fighter B's sensitive parts. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A shoots in but Fighter B avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Xxx Xxx will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Fighter B defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fighter A. Fighter B drives through with a takedown into Fighter A's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Fighter B looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Fighter A wants to get back to his feet but Fighter B is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A pulls Fighter B in close to his closed guard and prevents Fighter B from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A being controlled here, momentarily. Let's hope that Fighter B has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter B postures up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Fighter B engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fighter A shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fighter B pinned against the cage. Fighter B gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter A. Fighter B counters with a body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter A fails with the takedown and Fighter B counters with an outside leg kick.
Fighter B will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick. Fighter A closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter B circles away. And Fighter B responds with a good body kick, but Fighter A manages to step out the way in time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter B looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Fighter A is trying to stand.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fighter B in particular looking to stall. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Fighter B tries for a takedown but Fighter A sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Fighter A fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Fighter A feints and as Fighter B raises his hands in defense, Fighter A changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A tries to stand but Fighter B is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B wants to sweep here but Fighter A controlling him for the moment. Fighter A has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fighter B is proving hard to escape from. Fighter B managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter A or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter B, which made it look bad. Fighter A closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B is looking for a sweep. Fighter A is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fighter A wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fighter B keeps working. Fighter B is concentrating on defense, preventing Fighter A from advancing position. Fighter A performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Fighter A seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter A is trying to control. Fighter B wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Fighter A is stalling here. Fighter B is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Fighter A seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Fighter B has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Fighter A is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fighter B asserts his dominance and retains side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! You can see the frustration on Fighter A's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Xxx Xxx. Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
