The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bake darts in and clinches Kovaleva up against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kovaleva.
Bake lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Bake creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Kovaleva turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bake prevents Kovaleva from improving position.
Bake is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kovaleva connects with a decent elbow.
Kovaleva works to advance to full mount. Bake defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Kovaleva lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kovaleva lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Kovaleva landing strikes from the mount and Bake is in trouble!
A big strike lands for Kovaleva! That's really hurt Bake and he's turned his back - Kovaleva keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kovaleva jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
