Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zombie Lee (ranked 1094 p4p, 1855 weight class) and Deacon Fries (ranked 55 p4p, 97 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Zombie Lee has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Zombie Lee seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zombie Lee!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Deacon Fries!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lee throws out a powerful jab.
Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fries throws out the jab.
Lee loads up on a big right hand but Fries slips the punch.
Fries throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee.
We've been told by Lee's head coaches at Finch Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Fries tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
Lee scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Deacon Fries has been cut.
Lee takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fries closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lee quickly recovers to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fries missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Fries is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Lee reverses the position - he's now on top in Fries's guard.
Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fries on the ground.

Fries tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fries not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lee controls from within his opponent's guard.
Fries keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.
Fries manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lee manages to get himself to full guard.
Fries trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fries is fighting to break Lee's control of his arms but Lee is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Fries is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control.
Fries is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Lee managing to control the position.
Lee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Lee keeping moving, preventing Fries from controlling successfully.
Lee has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Fries has passed into side control.
Fries working the ground and pound.
Fries happy to just control the position for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fries looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Fries tries to move into full mount but can't pass Lee's legs.
Fries fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fries trying to control the action but Lee is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Deacon Fries dominated that round.

Lee takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Some wild striking there from Fries.
A little feinted left hand from Lee on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Lee swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fries.
Lee misses with a straight left.
Lee scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Fries displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lee throws out the jab.
Fries looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Lee closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lee throws a looping overhand right but Fries ducks down to avoid it.
Fries takes one to the chin there.
Fries misses with a few strikes there.
Lee missing with a left hand there. Fries was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fries wants to clinch
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee connects with a looping right hand.
Lee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Fries. That snapped Lee's head back.
Fries wants to land a leg kick but Lee is out of range.
Lee drops Fries with a beautiful combination! Fries stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lee is looking for the KO!
Fries is rocked!
Zombie Lee is winning the standup battle so far.
Fries switches off momentarily and Lee cracks him with a monster right hand! Fries topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Lee dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Lee!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zombie Lee!
Zombie Lee retains his bantamweight title!
