Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kristoph Kringle (ranked 2535 p4p, 3289 weight class) and Dirk Van Lenden (ranked 322 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Lenden is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Zanger Rinus - Met Romana Op De Scooter . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kristoph Kringle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dirk Van Lenden!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kringle connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Dirk Van Lenden has been cut.
Van Lenden avoids a punch combination nicely.
A countering left hand to the body from Van Lenden misses.
Van Lenden misses with a takedown attempt
letting Kringle counter with a right hand.
Van Lenden wants to clinch but Kringle slips to the side
and Kringle counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Van Lenden darts in trying to clinch
and Kringle counters with a nice body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Van Lenden fails with a takedown attempt.
Van Lenden has his takedown stuffed
and Kringle counters with a straight right hand.
Kristoph Kringle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dirk Van Lenden.

Kringle lands a right hook to the body.
Van Lenden looks winded!
Kringle cracks Van Lenden with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Van Lenden tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kringle pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Van Lenden is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kristoph Kringle!
After winning the bout, Kristoph Kringle thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
