Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Moe Lester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Savage Randy!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lester blocks a jab.
Randy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lester was well out of range. Poor timing from Randy.
It looked like Lester wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Randy moves out of range as Lester strikes.
Moe Lester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Randy misses with an uppercut
and Lester counters with a stiff right hand.
Randy tests Lester's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Moe Lester has been cut.

and Randy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Lester sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Randy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lester doesn't seem bothered though.

Randy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lester. Lester circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Randy throws a hook but Lester blocks it.

Lester looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

and Lester makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Randy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lester connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Randy scrambles back to his feet.

Randy tries to score with a low kick but Lester moves his leg out of the way.

and Lester counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lester moves out of range as Randy strikes.
Lester throws a body shot but no joy.

Lester throws a jab but it's blocked by Randy.
Lester clobbers Randy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lester has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lester lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Randy falls backwards - clearly groggy! Lester dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
