Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Longchain (ranked 1141 p4p, 1791 weight class) and Duncan Farquharson (ranked 165 p4p, 268 weight class). Farquharson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Danny Vera - Roller Coaster kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longchain lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Longchain swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A little jabbing left from Farquharson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Longchain throws a looping overhand right but Farquharson ducks down to avoid it.
Duncan Farquharson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Longchain drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Longchain seems to have locked his on tight now - Farquharson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Longchain, as he picks up the win!
