Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chan Wathan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinichi Fuujin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuujin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Soilwork - Rejection Role kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinichi Fuujin!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wathan fails with a takedown attempt.
Wathan misses with a takedown attempt - Fuujin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No luck for Wathan with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chan Wathan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fuujin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fuujin looks to land a combination but Wathan avoids it well.
Fuujin works over Wathan's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Chan Wathan has been cut.
Wathan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wathan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fuujin tries to avoid it but Wathan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fuujin to the ground. Fuujin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Fuujin dips to his left and cracks Wathan with an uppercut!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wathan fails with a takedown attempt.
Fuujin connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Wathan to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Fuujin!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Shinichi Fuujin!
