Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 18829 p4p, 4494 weight class) and Mitch Incons (ranked 0 p4p, 534 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 41 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Krzysztof Zakrzewski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mitch Incons! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Incons closes the distance and pushes Zakrzewski back into the cage. Zakrzewski looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Zakrzewski has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Incons avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Incons just misses with a elbow thrown towards Zakrzewski's brow. Incons is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Zakrzewski can't fight it off and eventually Incons manages to take the fight to the floor. Zakrzewski looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Zakrzewski is looking to stand back up but Incons counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Zakrzewski. Incons wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zakrzewski keeps working. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zakrzewski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Incons is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Incons is pressing down on Zakrzewski's thigh, looking to free his foot. Zakrzewski is holding on for now. Incons trying to control from half guard but Zakrzewski is working away. Incons not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Incons is trying to control. Zakrzewski wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Incons waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Zakrzewski. Incons rushes Zakrzewski and presses him up against the cage. Incons's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Incons rushes Zakrzewski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Zakrzewski wants to break the clinch but can't.
Incons lands a body punch. Incons will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Zakrzewski up against the cage. Zakrzewski blocks an elbow strike from Incons.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Incons misses with an elbow strike.
Zakrzewski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Incons pulls his leg out and moves away.
Incons stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Incons wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krzysztof Zakrzewski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Incons misses with a looping right. Zakrzewski tries to keep at a distance but Incons has taken the fight into the clinch. Zakrzewski tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Incons is trying to break the clinch but Zakrzewski is controlling him. Zakrzewski is looking to break free of the clinch but Incons has double underhooks. Incons has a couple of punches blocked by Zakrzewski.
Incons lands a nice shot to the body. Zakrzewski is trying to force a seperation but Incons has the dominant position. Zakrzewski wants a takedown but no success here.
Zakrzewski is looking to take this one to the mat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! With the two fighters working up against the cage, Incons just misses with a elbow thrown towards Zakrzewski's brow. Zakrzewski is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mitch Incons dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Incons misses with a hook. Zakrzewski ducked under it nicely. Zakrzewski ducks under a wild hook from Incons. We've been told by Zakrzewski's head coaches at Cozad MMA Helsinki that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Incons pushes Zakrzewski up against the cage in a clinch. Incons is pressed up against the cage. Zakrzewski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Incons down to the mat. Incons avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Zakrzewski moves away from the strike by Incons. Incons throws out a powerful jab. Incons tries to land a leg kick but Zakrzewski saw it coming and moves away.
Incons throws a lazy right hand but Zakrzewski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Zakrzewski slips a straight right by Incons. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Incons closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Incons trying to control the action but Zakrzewski is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Zakrzewski avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Incons.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zakrzewski is not content to let Incons control the position. Zakrzewski stops Incons from passing to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Incons is looking to take a break and control but Zakrzewski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Incons decides to stand back up. Incons steps back and let's Zakrzewski get back to his feet.

Incons throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zakrzewski was covering up waiting for the punch and Incons finishes the takedown easily into guard. Zakrzewski tries to land a sweep but no joy. Incons postures up in Zakrzewski's guard and throws a big left but Zakrzewski blocks it. Zakrzewski keeping moving, preventing Incons from controlling successfully. Incons controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zakrzewski not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Incons has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Incons accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Incons wants to control from the top but Zakrzewski keeps moving.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Incons moves into the clinch successfully.
Incons displaying some good clinch control by pressing Zakrzewski up against the cage. Zakrzewski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Incons is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. A short uppercut from Incons.

Zakrzewski has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Incons after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krzysztof Zakrzewski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Incons gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Incons is pushing down on Zakrzewski's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zakrzewski is fighting to maintain full guard but Incons has managed to sneak the leg through. Incons seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zakrzewski does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Zakrzewski is trying to maintain the position but Incons is very close to passing his half guard. Incons tries to pass the half guard into mount. Zakrzewski knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Incons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zakrzewski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Incons is trying to control the action in half guard but Zakrzewski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mitch Incons showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Incons throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Zakrzewski counters with a big head kick but Incons shrugs it off. Zakrzewski misses with a takedown attempt - Incons sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Incons shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Incons trying to control the position from guard on top but Zakrzewski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Incons looking to sit in guard and control but Zakrzewski gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Incons not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Incons has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Zakrzewski has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Incons gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Zakrzewski is staying active underneath Incons, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Incons trying to pass the guard but Zakrzewski defending well. Krzysztof Zakrzewski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A good leg kick by Zakrzewski. Incons swats away the attempt to clinch by Zakrzewski. Incons looks like he wants to counter punch here. Zakrzewski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Incons tries to avoid it but Zakrzewski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Incons to the ground. Incons escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Incons throws a big shot that misses. Zakrzewski moves out of range of the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Incons closes the distance and pushes Zakrzewski back into the cage. Zakrzewski has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Incons uses from the top position. Zakrzewski is trying to control the position but Incons postures up. Incons stays in close to Zakrzewski's body and controls the position. Zakrzewski controls Incons momentarily but Incons frees himself. Krzysztof Zakrzewski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mitch Incons is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Incons trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mitch Incons. Well Incons has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
