The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daizaemon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tayman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Daizaemon just stands there and leans against the ropes.

Kaze Daizaemon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Horrible takedown by Tayman or perhaps it was just good defense by Daizaemon which made him look bad.

Tayman drops down looking for an ankle pick but Daizaemon pulls his leg out and moves away.

Tayman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Daizaemon's shoulder. That is not cool.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Tayman counters with a three punch combo that has Daizaemon backing up. Daizaemon nods at Tayman to acknowledge the strikes.

and Tayman counters with a series of strikes. Daizaemon will be more careful next time no doubt.

Tayman lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Daizaemon backwards.

Daizaemon is pressed up against the ropes. Tayman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Daizaemon down to the mat. Daizaemon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
