Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ange Mazet (ranked 4539 p4p, 4545 weight class) and Fernando Yonic (ranked 126 p4p, 129 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Yonic lands.
Yonic looks to land a body kick but Mazet moved away.
Yonic throws a shot from downtown. Mazet moves away and avoids it.
Yonic takes a swing at Mazet's ribcage but misses.
Yonic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mazet manages to avoid it.
Yonic throws a body punch but Mazet moves out of range.
Mazet swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Yonic throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mazet.
Yonic lands a body shot.

Mazet drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mazet seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Yonic is pulling down on Mazet's head to control his posture.

Yonic wants to stand and escape but Mazet is having none of it.

Yonic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Yonic connects with a high kick.

Yonic gets caught flat footed, as Mazet shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Mazet stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yonic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mazet is stalling in the full guard.
Yonic is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Yonic cracks Mazet with a right hand to the side of the head.
Mazet scores with a decent looking hook.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Yonic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Yonic bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mazet doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mazet stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yonic.
Yonic avoids the body shot from Mazet.
Mazet lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Mazet lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mazet could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mazet throws a jab when Yonic was well out of range.
Mazet takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yonic looks to land a body kick but Mazet moved away.
Yonic throws the kick towards the body but Mazet avoids it.
Mazet connects with a good right hand that stumbles Yonic. Yonic circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mazet lands with a cross.
Yonic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mazet takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Mazet's jab looks to have found its range, popping Yonic under the eye.
Yonic throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Mazet shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mazet was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mazet wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yonic keeps working.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Fernando Yonic.
I think Yonic has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
