Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sylvain Riqueti (ranked 4541 p4p, 4544 weight class) and Hector Yonic (ranked 130 p4p, 127 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sylvain Riqueti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yonic misses with a kick to the body.
Riqueti avoids a kick to the body.
Riqueti lands a lovely overhand right.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Yonic enables Riqueti to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Yonic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Riqueti trying to move into half guard but instead Yonic has managed to sweep!
Riqueti is pulling down on Yonic's head to control his posture.
Yonic engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Yonic is looking to stand up but Riqueti won't let him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Riqueti wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yonic decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Riqueti, up you get!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Riqueti, as that shot connected.
Riqueti fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yonic sprawls well initially but Riqueti persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Yonic is trying is best to control the position here.
Yonic is staying active underneath Riqueti, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Riqueti looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Yonic trying to hold on to Riqueti's head to control him but Riqueti postures up.
Yonic is controlling Riqueti's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Riqueti is thwarting Yonic's attempts to control the position.
Riqueti seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yonic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Riqueti moves forwards but Yonic connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Yonic lands with a nice body punch.
Yonic throws a low kick but Riqueti moves out of range easily.
Yonic lands a high kick!
Yonic throws a low kick but it's checked well by Riqueti.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yonic scores with a shot to the body.
Hector Yonic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yonic misses with a head kick.

Yonic throws a head kick but Riqueti moves out of range.
Riqueti throws a body shot but no joy.
Riqueti moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Yonic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Riqueti swings for the body but Yonic moves out of range.
Riqueti with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yonic to score with a decent uppercut.
Yonic digs a good body shot into Riqueti's ribs.
Riqueti gets a double leg takedown into Yonic's guard.
Riqueti could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Riqueti tries to free his leg and advance position but Yonic is retaining full guard.
Yonic lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Yonic passes into half guard.
Riqueti has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yonic is working away from the top position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yonic perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Riqueti tries to get to full guard but Yonic has control of the leg.
Yonic looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Riqueti trying to hold on to Yonic's head to control him but Yonic postures up.
And that's the end of the fight!
Hector Yonic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Yonic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
