Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michail Argyros (ranked 5317 p4p, 3459 weight class) and Kunt Andreas (ranked 575 p4p, 433 weight class). Andreas has chosen Gikk i Bakken as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andreas defending well as Argyros loads up on a big left hand.
Andreas moves out of range of the strikes.
Andreas flicks out a counter leg kick but Argyros steps away.
Argyros swings for the body but Andreas moves out of range.
Argyros misses with a left hand
and Andreas counters with a left to the body.
Andreas uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Argyros has time to react.

Argyros tries to work over Andreas's front leg with a kick but Andreas checks it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Andreas lands a big uppercut and Argyros crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Argyros looks OK. Andreas waves Argyros back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Andreas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Argyros.
Andreas drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Argyros's head, knocking him out cold! Andreas is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
