Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dalinar Kholin (ranked 879 p4p, 1574 weight class) and Hill Billy Hank (ranked 131 p4p, 228 weight class). Kholin comes to the cage accompanied by Berserkir. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dalinar Kholin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hill Billy Hank!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kholin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hank's sensitive parts.
Kholin lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hank shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kholin defends it nicely.
Kholin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kholin swats away the attempt to clinch by Hank.
Kholin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hill Billy Hank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kholin scores with a nice strike.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hank looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hank has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hank shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kholin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hank tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kholin defends well and Hank ends up having to push Kholin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kholin appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Dalinar Kholin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hill Billy Hank.
Hank tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kholin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kholin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Kholin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hank walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kholin.
Kholin cracks Hank with an open hand slap.
A punch lands to the side of Hank 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kholin misses with a low kick.
Hank tries to counter with a clinch but Kholin shakes him off and moves away.
Hank tries to close the distance and clinch but Kholin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hank is looking to clinch but Kholin is avoiding it.
Kholin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hank gets a takedown into half guard.
Kholin trying to hold on to Hank's head to control him but Hank postures up.
Hank throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hank is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Hank has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hank throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hank moves nicely into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kholin is trying to improve his position.
Hank throws an elbow but Kholin slips to the side and avoids it well.

Hank is looking to take a break and control but Kholin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hank advances to full mount.
Kholin is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kholin takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Kholin is in a horrible position here. Hank smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Hank fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kholin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kholin tries to get out of the position.
Hank raining down hammerfists from mount.

Hank cracks Kholin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Hank can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kholin is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kholin is in all sorts of trouble here.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hank cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kholin is looking to improve his position but Hank isn't that keen on the idea.
Hank avoids the attempt from Kholin to control.
Hank lands a nice shot to the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dalinar Kholin will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hank tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kholin swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hank takes one to the chin there.

Hank darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hank slows the pace down in half guard.

Hank frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

BOOM! Hank connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Hank lands a heavy elbow.
Kholin is bucking up trying to escape but Hank cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Kholin is rocked!

Hank jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kholin manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Oh Kholin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kholin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hank on the ground.
Hank advances to full mount.
Kholin tries to hold on but Hank pushes him away.
Kholin seems to have got his legs back now.
A nice elbow there by Hank.
Hank with good strikes from the mount here!
Kholin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kholin squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Hank can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kholin is looking to escape.
Hank is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kholin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hank postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Kholin bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Hank and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hill Billy Hank!
Hill Billy Hank is the new middleweight champion!
Hill Billy Hank gave a mention to Bondi MMA in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
