PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Projetus Animalis (ranked 5352 p4p, 3823 weight class) and Cleetus Miller (ranked 577 p4p, 472 weight class). Projetus Animalis had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a combination. Animalis tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Animalis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Animalis has hold of Miller's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Miller manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Miller shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Animalis eats them both and turns towards Miller to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Animalis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Miller manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Miller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Animalis is controlling him.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Animalis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Miller was covering up waiting for the punch and Animalis finishes the takedown easily into guard.
