Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Smif (ranked 2585 p4p, 1880 weight class) and Colton Wilder (ranked 323 p4p, 268 weight class). Wilder is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly. Will Smif could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Colton Wilder's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Smif!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colton Wilder!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilder shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wilder showed some decent athleticism there.
Wilder stalling.
Wilder stops Smif from getting back to his feet.
Wilder lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilder thows a huge punch but Smif dodges it nicely.
Wilder is nestled in close to Smif, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Smif tries to kick Wilder off but Wilder keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wilder connects with a nice short shot to Smif's temple.

Wilder has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wilder passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Smif!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smif really wants to buck Wilder off and get back to his feet.

Wilder lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Smif is bucking up trying to escape but Wilder cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
