Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Grimes (ranked 1504 p4p, 4722 weight class) and Denzel Ward (ranked 171 p4p, 421 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Gunnar Grimes has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gunnar Grimes seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Denzel Ward!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Darius Henderson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Ward as Grimes shoots in.
Ward unleashes a big counter combination but Grimes bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Ward stuffs the takedown.
Ward should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Grimes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Grimes successfully pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Grimes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ward trying to control but Grimes is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grimes has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ward should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Grimes has tightened it up now! Ward should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
