Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keith Rodgers (ranked 1242 p4p, 1985 weight class) and Valdo Calamari (ranked 172 p4p, 262 weight class). Calamari has chosen Bellini - Samba Do Brasil as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodgers shoots in looking for a takedown. Calamari tries to sprawl out of it but Rodgers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Calamari manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've been hearing reports that Rodgers has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
