And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seok Yi!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yi swings for the body but Matijevic moves out of range.
A slow jab from Yi misses its intended target.
Matijevic went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Yi throws a poor cross that misses
and Matijevic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Matijevic slips a jab from Yi.
Matijevic takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Matijevic takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Matijevic misses with a straight right.
Yi misses with a right hand
and Matijevic counters with a crisp right hand that drops Yi! Matijevic lets Yi back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Yi is rocked!
It looks like Seok Yi has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Matijevic.
Yi is still on wobbly legs! Can Matijevic finish him?
Yi leaves his chin hanging out and Matijevic seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Yi crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
