Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aboubacar Mandiang (ranked 1547 p4p, 1073 weight class) and Vinny Corcoran (ranked 200 p4p, 145 weight class). Mandiang comes to the cage accompanied by Oliver Twist. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandiang is looking to clinch but Corcoran is avoiding it.
Mandiang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Corcoran paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mandiang has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Corcoran throws a body kick that misses.

Corcoran darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Corcoran escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mandiang tries to close the distance and clinch but Corcoran swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Corcoran bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Mandiang! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Mandiang has a closed guard, preventing Corcoran from standing up.

It seemed like Corcoran was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Mandiang glances at the clock... BAM! Corcoran nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Mandiang crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Mandiang is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Vinny Corcoran decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
