Johnson's entrance music is 300 Violin Orchestra. A fine choice. Marc Johnson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okino displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Johnson.
Johnson tries for a takedown but Okino sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Okino sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.
Okino thinks about the counter body kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marc Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson shoots in but no luck this time.
Johnson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Okino counters with a one-two to the body.
Okino fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Johnson to the ground. Okino is now in Johnson's guard.

Johnson is wriggling around but Okino manages to pass to half guard.
Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Okino on the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Okino stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Okino sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Okino, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Okino against the cage but Okino circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Okino is looking for the big counter here.
Okino rushes Johnson and presses him up against the cage.
Okino escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Okino throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson.
Okino closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Johnson did well to prevent Okino getting side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Okino seems to be looking for submissions.
Johnson wants to control but Okino is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson is looking to control Okino's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Johnson avoid being mounted?

Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but Okino manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
