Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fabiano Martinez (ranked 3663 p4p, 713 weight class) and Kikuchiyo Mifune (ranked 471 p4p, 96 weight class). Mifune has chosen Seven Samurai as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabiano Martinez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kikuchiyo Mifune! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez fails with a takedown attempt. Mifune moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Fabiano Martinez has been cut. Martinez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mifune defends well and Martinez ends up having to push Mifune into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mifune scores with a shoulder strike. A short right from Mifune. Mifune is working Martinez over against the cage. Mifune lands an elbow inside that Martinez shrugs off. Mifune lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Martinez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mifune is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabiano Martinez. That's going to take a lot out of him. A short left from Mifune. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mifune gets underhooks to prevent Martinez's takedown attempt.
Mifune lands with a short shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mifune lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Martinez or not. A short right from Mifune on the inside. A frustrated look appears on Martinez's face as he tries to break the clinch. Martinez is trying to maintain a safe position but Mifune gets an underhook and turns Martinez into the cage. Mifune lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Martinez backwards. Martinez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mifune fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mifune cracks Martinez with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Martinez looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mifune finish him?
Martinez is rocked! Mifune goes for a small jab and connects. Now Mifune goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Martinez stumbles back but Mifune runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Martinez to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Martinez will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kikuchiyo Mifune! Kikuchiyo Mifune tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
